Okay, let me tell you bout these two cuties.

I love them. I love everything about them. We decided to head to the gorgeous Iao Valley to take some photos of them and their sweet pup (also, if the question is ever “Should we include our dog(s)? the answer is a resounding YES) and to take in some of Maui’s insane beauty. They were one of my last sessions while I was living in Maui and because we all work for the amazing Flytographer- I was so nervous to photograph other photographers.

Taena and Marie BOTH grew up in Maui and exploring with them while I lived there was such a treat. The friendship we have is wonderful and I miss them so much, but I’m so thrilled I got to capture their love! Taena is putting extra emphasis on existing in photos this year- which is something I always strive to translate to ANYONE. We all have phones and cameras at our fingertips- but how often do we let ourselves ACTUALLY exist in pictures? And to be present while doing it… it’s quite the experience!
