It finally happened!
Friends, I have been working so hard for so long on some pretty amazing projects, and one of them just became a palpable reality: I launched my very own podcast!!!
Someplace for Every Body is a podcast about bodies. As you know, I heavily subscribe to the belief that all bodies are beautiful; which means we’ll be talking about all kinds of bodies, and not just the bodies that society has tried to tell us are the only acceptable ones!
We’re going to talk about the human experience in our bodies; the good, the bad, and the in-between. While you’re going to be hearing from me quite a bit, I’ve also tapped some pretty incredible people to come on and chat about their own experiences and areas of expertise.
You can expect to hear about body inclusivity and where we are supported and where we are failed (*ahem* the fashion industry). We’ll talk about body positivity, and how and why our own personal perspectives have changed. We’re going to talk about the power of community, and how big of a difference it has made in our personal journeys. We’ll talk about mental health. And, of course, you’ll hear about boudoir…and soooooo much more!
Did I mention that, while I am female-identifying and can only speak to my experience in my female body, this podcast will be gender inclusive?? Because, um, YES! Of course it will be! All genders have bodies and experiences in them, and I hope to break down some of the stigma around body conversation.
So, who’s ready to join me in making moves towards body neutrality in society???
Listen to the podcast on your favorite platforms, and don’t forget to follow, review, and share! This will help put my pod in front of more people who maybe need to hear what I have to say, and I appreciate your help in spreading the word!
